Art + Music + Booze = Yay!

We started the night off visiting one of the MFA shows for Columbia at the Book and Paper department. There were a few cool installations.

One of them, involved telephones with something like various incarnations of sexbots or something. The phones all had prerecorded monologues about women characters and why they were great mates, I think.

Ryan though Gertrude was scandalous.

This artist also had a performance, which was kind of cool.

Afterward, we went to a few galleries on Fulton market. The first place had these installations of resin flowers in color-field-like patterns.

We all posed in front of them, trying to color-coordinate.
Alex (Kringle) in red...

David Jacob exploding out of yellow...

RyRy in Blue...

And I took this white-ish one.

One day, I want to put a tiny-size me amidst this grove of resin flowers...

Later, we stopped at Noah's birthday and Kringle put pretzels in his eyes.

And there was a cute kitty.

And then we went up to the Jackhammer for Jinx Titanic's last show, where we ran into all sorts of hooligans.

Can you tell I'm a little tipsy at this point? So was the Duke.

Superstar band, The Joans opened. The Joans dress up like Joan Crawford in Mommy Dearest.
These pictures don't really reflect my memories of the night. Actually I didn't remember any part of the Joans' part of the performance besides the repeated line: "I'm not mad at you, I'M MAD AT THE DIRT." Other than that, it's all a blur.
Apparently, Jinx had some cute roadies to help them set up their equipment and film video:

Oh. And I took a couple pictures of the Jinx, too. He's looking a little drunk himself.

It was a fun night.
